三葉草生物-B(02197.HK)二價新冠候選疫苗顯示對奧密克戎和其他值得關注的變異株具有廣譜中和作用
格隆匯5月5日丨三葉草生物-B(02197.HK)公吿，公司欣然宣佈了三葉草生物二價新冠候選疫苗臨牀前研究的積極的新數據，該疫苗結合了來自原始新冠毒株和奧密克戎變異株的三聚體刺突蛋白抗原。在臨牀前研究中發現，二價候選疫苗作為基礎疫苗和加強針接種，誘導了對包括奧密克戎在內的所有值得關注的變異株的廣譜中和作用。《二價S－三聚體新冠疫苗對值得關注的變異株的交叉保護》稿件已在bioRxiv(一個生物預印本伺服器)上發表預印本，並將提交給同行評審的科學期刊。
在此項臨牀前研究中，二價新冠候選疫苗由來自原始毒株的三聚體刺突蛋白(SCB-2019)和來自奧密克戎變異株的三聚體刺突蛋白(SCB-2022B)組成。在接受基礎免疫和加強針接種(前接種了兩劑原型疫苗)的小鼠中，二價新冠候選疫苗顯示對包括奧密克戎變異株在內的所有值得關注的變異株具有有效的中和作用。重要的是，與單價奧密克戎變異株疫苗(SCB-2022B)單獨比較，二價新冠疫苗針對試驗中測試的絕大多數變異株顯示了更高的中和抗體水平，針對奧密克戎顯示出相似的中和抗體水平。
基於這些發現，公司計劃將此二價新冠候選疫苗開發推進到臨牀開發階段。公司物還預計在今年第二季度啟動一項1期試驗來評估SCB-2020S(一種野生型毒株和貝塔變異株嵌合S-三聚體候選疫苗)以展示應用Trimer-Tag™(蛋白質三聚體化)平台技術研發應對未來新冠病毒變異株廣譜疫苗的概念驗證。迄今為止的臨牀結果表明，SCB-2019(CpG1018/鋁佐劑)作為一種加強針疫苗可顯着增強對奧密克戎的免疫應答。公司繼續專注於當下首要任務，完成向中國國家藥品監督管理局、歐洲藥品管理局及世界衞生組織遞交註冊申請，併為在中國和全球範圍內的商業化做好準備。
