- This promotion is only available to customers in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region who are 18 years old or above.
- All customers can enter the promotion page through the activity center in uSMART APP, select stocks in the promotion page and use the virtual currency “uSMART bean” to simulate betting and closing positions. Stock stimulation in the promotion page included HK and US stocks which are selected day margin stocks in uSMART APP
- uSMART bean is the only virtual currency for this promotion which can be used for simulating trades and redeeming prizes. When customers enter the promotion page for the first time, the system will issue 1 million uSMART bean automatically as customers’ initial virtual capital. After that, customer can gain more uSMART bean by trading and completing daily tasks. Please refer to the follow task list and relevant rewards:

- uSMART company’s system will count the amount of uSMART bean held by users after HK stock market and US stock market closing. If the amount of uSMART bean held by users is less than 500 thousand during the settlement period on that day, users can collect uSMART bean on the promotion page – collect uSMART bean page, and the number of uSMART bean will be reorganized to 500 thousand. - A ranking list will be set up in the promotion home page which shows the username, uSMART bean amount and ranking of top 10 users who have the most uSMART bean. * Users can only redeem 1 share of Apple (AAPL.US) stock coupon once in each designated redemption period, but users may participate in multiple designated redemption periods.
Remarks:
- During designated redemption period, users who meet the redemption conditions can clear all uSMART bean to redeem prizes. If users do not redeem prizes within designated redemption period, users with lower ranking can also redeem prizes according to the procedures of the above-mentioned redemption conditions in the last two days of the designated redemption period. Users can choose not to redeem prizes and continue to accumulate uSMART beans.
User ranking may fluctuate with the transactions during the designated redemption period. The possible scenario is that a user ranked third on the first day and surpassed by another user on the second day, this is a ranking fluctuation allowed by the rules of this promotion. It means that users who are ranked behind have the opportunity to redeem prizes through simulated transactions at any time. The rule of redemption is that users can redeem prizes at the time they meet the redemption conditions, when the number of redeemable prizes are greater than 0, users can redeem and receive the prizes on a first-come, first-served basis.- After the fourth quarter redemption period ends, users’ uSMART beans will be cleared and this promotion will be terminated as well.
- Simulated trading rules
- Number of transactions: Users can execute up to 10 transactions per day, and all simulated transactions do not involve handling fees and charges. All simulated transactions in this event are day trading, which means that if the user does not sell out the holding stock before the market close, the system will close the position automatically at market close.
- Users must choose the amount of bet on uSMART beans and then select the multiple (multiple is a required item, only 5 times, 10 times, and 20 times can be chosen) to "buy" the stocks in the designated stock pool. The minimum and maximum bet amount of each purchase are 10,000 and 500,000 respectively.
- After buying the stock, users can sell the stock again. The amount of increase is the users’ gain, the formula for calculating the amount of uSMART beans of the user's earnings is:
Actual gain = Principal + Principal * gain* Multiple (if users go short, it will be a negative return)
Example 1:
Place a bet on 100,000 uSMART beans, choose a multiple of 20, expect to rise, open the position at HK$1 and close the position at HK$1.1
Profit obtained after closing the position (including the principal of the bet) = 100,000*(1 + 20*(1.1-1)/1) =100,000 + 100,000*20*0.1 = HK$300,000
Example 2：
Place a bet on 100,000 uSMART beans, choose a multiple of 20, expect to rise, open the position at HK$1, and close the position at HK$0.9
Profit obtained after closing the position (including the principal of the bet) = 100,000*(1 + 20*(0.9-1)/1) = 100,000 + 100,000*20*-0.1 = - HK$100,000
- If users do not sell the stock on the same day after buying, the stock will be liquidated automatically when stock market close. The calculation formula is the same as above.
- When conducting a simulated transaction, users can also click the “Smart Sell” tool in the portfolio on the promotion page. They can set daily profit-taking price and stop-losing price, the system will close a position automatically when the stock price reaches the profit-taking price or stop-losing price. (If the price of the holding stock only reaches the target price shortly and falls back within 10 seconds, the system may not trigger the “Smart Sell” function)
- Within the fourth quarter redemption period, the user who has the most uSMART beans on 23 May 2022 can choose to redeem a designated Tesla automobile (Tesla Model 3). The redemption period is 7 days. If the winner does not redeem Tesla automobile in the first five days, top 3 users can also redeem Tesla automobile on the sixth and seventh day.
- If customers redeem their physical prizes on the promotion page, our customer service will contact customers to confirm the way of collecting physical prizes within 14 working days.
- The ranking and amount of uSMART bean are subject to the final discretion and records in uSMART’s system.
- Both the sharer and the Friend must have valid accounts at uSMART in order to be able to redeem the relevant rewards.
- Whether or not the sharer owns multiple accounts at uSMART, uSMART will only regard them as one account and reserve the right to provide the relevant rewards into any one of the accounts.
- The Friend can only receive the relevant rewards if they have never registered for an account at uSMART previously.
- In the case of any suspected fraud, violation of any regulations or inappropriate behavior resulting in the suspension of your account by uSMART, uSMART reserves the right to take any and all necessary legal actions to recover the rewards that have been given or paid to the customer and to recover any and all losses arising from the abovementioned behaviors and/or violations by the client.
- Under all circumstances, physical prizes are not exchangeable (including but not limited to its color, model, memory size), transferrable, refundable or exchanged to cash.
