新鴻基公司(00086.HK)擬投資WCD基金1億美元 協助WCD基金資本結構增長及多元化
格隆匯1月21日丨新鴻基公司(00086.HK)公吿，據新鴻基的吿知及確認，於2025年1月21日，新鴻基(聯合集團間接非全資附屬公司)訂立具約束力的協議綱領，據此，新鴻基同意承諾1億美元資金投資於WCD基金，並承諾向Wentworth GP信託基金投放2500萬澳元作為基石投資以投資於Wentworth的各項投資策略，提供策略服務及向WCD提供營運資金貸款。
訂立協議綱領前，SHK Bullion(新鴻基間接全資附屬公司及聯合集團間接非全資附屬公司)於2024年12月20日與Wentworth訂立股權交易。因此，根據上市規則第14.22及14.23條，股權交易及協議綱領項下擬進行交易(統稱"該等交易")合併計算。
據新鴻基的吿知及確認，新鴻基為香港一間領先的另類投資金融企業，投資遍佈公開市場、另類投資及房地產，並於為股東締造長期經風險調整回報上擁有良好往績。新鴻基運用其內部專業知識、外部網絡及財務狀況，投資於具吸引力經風險調整機遇。
據新鴻基的吿知及確認，新鴻基致力於透過策略投資及合作伙伴關係，擴展其另類基金管理平台，並預視到澳洲的房地產私人信貸市場迅速增長並商機處處，在資金需求不斷增加及來自傳統銀行貸款競爭減少的環境下，此項投資可提供具競爭力的經風險調整回報。該等交易提升新鴻基與Wentworth的共同發展策略，與高質素的團隊建立長期合作伙伴關係，開發另類投資產品，為新鴻基集團及其資本夥伴帶來具吸引力的經風險調整回報。
