英特尔：Gaudi 3三季度推出，拥有联想等强大生态系统支持
8月2日，英特尔首席执行官Patrick Gelsinger在2024年第二季度财报会议上回答了关于AI PC和服务器的若干问题，他表示，基于Lunar Lake的AI PC将于本季度出货，此外新一代AI芯片Gaudi 3也将于第三季度推出。
Patrick Gelsinger表示：AI PC的市场份额将从目前的不到10%增长到2026年的50%以上。英特尔酷睿Ultra的出货量在第二季度环比增长了一倍以上，并且已经为300多个应用程序和500个AI模型提供了AI功能。这不断证明了英特尔通过40年的持续投资培育的强大生态系统。自12月推出以来，英特尔已经出货了1500多万台 Windows AI PC，比所有竞争对手的总和还要多。英特尔仍有望在年底前出货4000多万台AI PC，到2025年底累计出货量超过1亿台。
下一代AI PC Lunar Lake已于7月提前投产，将成为下一个全行业设备更新的催化剂。与上一代产品相比，Lunar Lake性能卓越，功耗降低一半，图形性能提高50%，能效提高40%。Lunar Lake凭借增强的MTU实现了3倍的TOPS 提升。微软已认证Lunar Lake为联想等20多家OEM的80多台新型Copilot+ PC运行，这些产品将于本季度开始出货。
关于全球火热的AI服务器等算力基础设置，Patrick Gelsinger称我们拥有坚实的基础，包括目前为全球数据中心提供支持的1.3亿多台Xeon处理器。我们的路线图旨在在此快速安装基础上提供更高的性能和效率，实现开放、灵活和可扩展的 AI 解决方案，并降低客户的总拥有成本。本季度我们迈出了一些重要步伐，首先是推出Xeon 6，采用e-core处理器。它可提高性能、降低功耗并大幅整合机架。与竞争解决方案相比，每瓦性能提高了25%。随后将推出代号为Granite Rapids的P核Xeon 6，它可为最苛刻的工作负载提供更高的性能，并将于本季度开始发货。
英特尔专注于开放模型、开放开发人员框架以及通过 OPEA(即企业 AI 开放平台)将Xeon与加速器相结合的参考设计，这些设计正在获得相当大的市场吸引力。Gaudi 3将于第三季度推出，它将把英特尔的加速器性能提升到一个新的水平，将竞争产品的成本降低三分之二。从更具体的角度来看，英特尔预计Gaudi 3在推理和训练方面的每美元性能将比H100提高大约2倍。
Patrick Gelsinger进一步表示，Gaudi 3拥有强大的生态系统支持，包括联想、超微、富士康、技嘉、Inventek等。
