馬斯克重磅官宣：8月8日發佈Robotaxi！無人駕駛出租車真的要來了？
特斯拉首席執行官埃隆·馬斯克在X上的社交媒體帖子中表示，公司將於8月8日推出無人駕駛出租車（robotaxi）產品。這款即將推出的自動駕駛汽車據稱將基於特斯拉的下一代汽車平台打造。
消息公佈後，特斯拉股價盤後上升超3%。截至週五收盤，特斯拉股價今年已下跌 34%。
路透社週五早些時候報道稱，特斯拉取消了推出低成本汽車計劃，並正在將更多資源轉向嘗試將自動駕駛出租車推向市場。馬斯克迴應稱“路透社在撒謊”，但沒有提供具體細節。
此前，馬斯克多次表示，其長期願景是為大眾提供可負擔的電動汽車，這款低成本車型被市場寄予厚望，售價預計在2.5萬美元左右，有望成為推動特斯拉增長的下一個熱門車型。
馬斯克隨後在X上表示：“特斯拉無人駕駛出租車將於8月8日亮相。”他似乎證實了部分報道，稱特斯拉的下一個產品發佈將聚焦於自動駕駛出租車。
特斯拉多年來一直承諾提供真正的自動駕駛技術，但一直沒有兑現。
2015年，馬斯克吿訴股東，特斯拉的汽車將在三年內實現“完全自動駕駛”。
2016年，他表示特斯拉將能夠在次年年底前將其中一輛汽車進行越野行駛，而無需任何人為干預。
2019 年，馬斯克對滿屋子的投資者表示，到明年，該汽車製造商將“有超過100萬輛配備全自動駕駛硬件的特斯拉汽車上路”。但這並沒有發生。
分析師表示，由於相關技術的複雜性，這家全球最大電動汽車製造商更加重視無人駕駛出租車的同時，也面臨着更大的風險。
卡內基梅隆大學自動駕駛汽車安全教授菲利普·庫普曼 (Philip Koopman) 表示：“其他人都發現，他們認為需要兩三年的項目，結果卻是一個需要10年或20年的項目。” “特斯拉也發現了這一點。”
自動駕駛汽車的發展並不順利。在最近的一個例子中，自動駕駛軟件公司Ghost Autonomy週三關閉了全球業務，理由是盈利前景不明朗。
