保誠(02378.HK)公佈年度業績：新業務利潤增加45%至31.25億美元，擬派第二次中期息每股14.21美分
格隆匯3月20日丨保誠(02378.HK)公佈截至2023年12月31日止年度財務業績。2023年度，按固定匯率基準計算，新業務利潤增加45%至31.25億美元。若撇除利率及其他經濟變動的影響，新業務利潤增加47%；有效保險及資產管理業務賺取的經營自由盈餘為27.40億美元(2022年：27.25億美元)；經調整經營溢利增加8%至28.93億美元；歐洲內含價值股東權益增加7%至453億美元，相當於每股1,643美分(按實質匯率基準)；超出集團訂明資本要求的集團監管股東資本盈餘為161億美元，相當於覆蓋率為295%，第二次中期股息為每股14.21美分，全年則為每股20.47美分，升9%。
就上述業績，執行總裁Anil Wadhwani(華康堯)表示："雖然宏觀經營環境充滿挑戰，但多個業績指標仍錄得強勁表現，新業務利潤增加45%。上述表現得益於我們不懈努力，在亞洲及非洲的市場專注執行策略，同時亦彰顯我們的代理及銀行保險分銷渠道頗具實力，以及我們在多個主要市場佔據領先位置。
"我們推出全新策略至今已有六個月，由提升客户體驗、推動以科技驅動的分銷以至健康業務模式轉型，多個策略目標已初步取得良好進展，情況令人鼓舞。我們已招募健康、技術領域的高級領導層人才，並在主要市場增聘專才，以期因應策略重點，不斷提升我們的能力。
