66 Chinese companies have been dropped from the MSCI China Index, which is effective at the end of the month at most in more than two years.
MSCI released the results of its quarterly review and announced that it would remove 66 Chinese companies from the MSCI China index, the highest level in at least two years. The change will take effect after the market closes on February 29. The excluded shares include 600383.SH, Greentown China (03900.HK), 01055.HK (600029.SH) and 01833.HK. Has been newly included in Midea (000333.SZ) and giant biological (02367.HK) and other five companies.
Three shares, including New World Development (00017.HK), Budweiser Asia Pacific (01876.HK) and Lutheran Glass (00868.HK), were dropped from the MSCI Hong Kong Index and no new shares were included.
