也門衝突升級 海運業界料1月下旬運力急降 運費指標WCI單周飆15%
美國總統拜登確認美軍與英軍大規模空襲也門胡塞武裝,胡塞武裝發聲明將很快擴大對紅海航道的襲擊,誓言將繼續瞄準駛往以色列的船隻。據《上證報》報道,紅海局勢導致航運公司改道南非好望角,正在影響全球集裝箱的運力周轉。
報道引述海事諮詢公司Sea-Intelligence最新分析稱,由於一些從亞洲出發的航班在短期內被推遲,需要重新規劃航線,而另一些航班明顯延遲抵達亞洲,導致1月中旬幾周的運力迅速減少。預計1月22日當周的運力將急劇下降。
報告引述貨運代理消息指,已有部分航線由於運力周轉下降,出現集裝箱短缺問題;旺季用櫃量大會出現缺箱。但現在,主要是因為到歐洲和地中海,都需要繞航,繞遠後航程增加,箱子就趕不及回來。
更甚者,1月是傳統的出貨旺季。一位行業人士稱,因為國外假期結束,加上要趕在春節前出貨,所以通常1月份的訂單都會比12月多。
此前,在地緣衝突的影響下,相關航線運費已經不斷上升。英國倫敦海運諮詢機構德魯里(Drewry)數據顯示,1月11日,Drewry世界集裝箱運價指數(WCI)當周上漲15%,至每40呎標準貨櫃(FEU)3,072美元,較去年同期上漲了44%。其中上海至鹿特丹運價本周漲23%,至每FEU達4,406美元,較去年同期增長133%。Drewry預計,未來幾周東西航線即期運價將繼續上漲。
