根據環聯(TransUnion)季度信貸產業洞察報告,美國消費者的平均信用卡餘額較一年前躍升15%,達到6,088美元,為10年來的最高水平。 日前紐約聯邦儲備銀行的報告亦顯示,美國人目前的信用卡欠款總數為1.08兆美元。兩份報告均表明信用卡債務不斷增加。 此外,紐約聯儲和環聯發現,信用卡拖欠率全面上升。環聯全球研究和諮詢高級副總裁Charlie Wise表示,消費者正在努力負擔日常開支,他們正在努力防止「紙牌屋倒塌」,不僅結欠餘額更高,而且相關的償債成本也明顯更高。
