拜登:車廠創紀錄利潤 應確保工會擁有創新高薪酬合約
美國總統拜登在白宮就美國汽車工人聯合會(UAW)罷工發表講話時強調,隨著汽車公司創造創紀錄的利潤,工人應該獲得公平的補償。
拜登表示,將派遣代理勞工部長和白宮高級顧問前往底特律,幫助調解及談判。
拜登強調,由於美國汽車工人聯合會工人的非凡技能和犧牲,汽車公司在過去數年中實現創紀錄的利潤,但創紀錄的利潤並沒有與工人公平分享。
由於工會周四晚上未能與通用汽車(GM.US)、 福特汽車(F.US)和Stellantis(STLS.US)達成新薪酬合約協議, 近13,000名汽車工人開始罷工。
