騰盛博藥-B(02137.HK)與Qpex Biopharma達成最終協議
格隆匯6月26日丨騰盛博藥-B(02137.HK)發佈公吿，公司與Qpex Biopharma(“Qpex”)達成最終協議。據此，(a)公司將獲得BRII-693(也被稱為QPX9003)的全球獨家開發和商業化權益，以擴大其現有的大中華區BRII-693權益。未來公司無需再向Qpex支付與BRII-693相關的成本分攤費用、里程碑費用和特許權使用費，及(b)公司將返還於2019年獲Qpex許可的基於QPX7728的產品(即BRII-636和BRII-672)在大中華區的獨家權益，並不再向Qpex支付與這些產品相關的成本分攤費用、里程碑費用和特許權使用費。上述交易完成後，Qpex將向公司支付800萬美元，並根據未來在美國的里程碑事件支付潛在款項。
與此同時，Qpex將完成與鹽野義的合併。作為Qpex的股東，公司將在收購完成時出售其持有的全部Qpex股份權益並獲得約1600萬美元的收入，以及未來基於在美國的里程碑事件的潛在付款。
BRII-693是一種處於研發階段的新型合成脂肽，用於治療多重耐藥╱廣泛耐藥革蘭氏陰性菌感染的危重症患者，特別是耐碳青黴烯類鮑曼不動桿菌和耐碳青黴烯類銅綠假單胞菌感染。2019年10月，公司與Qpex簽訂了許可協議，獲得了BRII-693和基於QPX7728的產品在大中華區的開發和商業化權益。
公司董事長兼首席執行官Zhi Hong博士表示：“BRII-693由於具有明確的抗菌機制和更優良的安全性，有望成為治療革蘭氏陰性菌感染危重症患者的最安全和最有效的多黏菌素。同時鑑於BRII-693的微生物學和臨牀特徵，我們非常高興有機會優先專注該藥物的全球開發。”
