由「股神」巴菲特投資旗艦巴郡(BRK.A.US)作為大股東的西方石油(OXY.US)首季經調整後盈利下跌48%至11億美元,調整後每股盈利為1.09美元,遠低於市場預期的1.24美元,因全球經濟增長前景堪憂導致油價下跌,
季內石油及天然氣的日產量從此前一年的108萬桶增加至122萬桶,但原油售價較去年同期下降19%,至平均每桶74.22美元。
西方石油上季的資本開支近乎增加一倍至15億美元,剔除營運資金後的經營現金流下降24%至32億美元。公司將全年石油及天然氣生產指引增加2萬桶至每日122萬桶。
