加拿大電商Shopify(SHOP.US)公布首季業績。季度綜合收益7,700萬美元,對上年度同期錄綜合虧損14.68億美元。每股季度攤薄純利5美仙,經調整後每股純利1美仙,勝市場預期的每股虧損4美仙。季度收入按年升25.2%至15.08億美元,高於市場預期的14.3億美元。季度平台毛交易總額496美元,按年升15%。
公司宣布退出物流業務,把有關分支售予Flexport並換取股份,公司將持後者13%股權。公司同時宣布即時裁減約兩成人手。
Shopify股價昨日(4日)急升23.8%報57.3美元。市場認為出售業務可減少Shopify對物流業務的投資負擔。
