Western Alliance股價大漲，業績緩解了對存款的擔憂
Western Alliance Bancorp週三股價大漲24%，此前這家美國區域性銀行公佈了強於預期的收益，並稱其存款已趨於穩定，這有助於緩解人們對上個月的銀行業危機可能籠罩更多貸款機構的擔憂。
這家總部位於亞利桑那州鳳凰城的銀行的季度業績也提振了上個月受到股票投資者懲罰的其他地區銀行的股價，因爲在硅谷銀行倒閉後，消費者將存款轉移到了更大的機構。
Western Alliance週二晚些時候表示，第一季度總存款較前三個月下降11%至476億美元，但存款在本季度末穩定下來，從3月31日到4月14日增長了20億美元。
該銀行補充說，資產負債表重新定位，包括出售部分資產和重新分類貸款，產生了1.1億美元的非運營費用。
奧馬哈卡森集團首席市場策略師瑞安德特里克在西方聯盟報告發布後的一封電子郵件中表示：“我們看到一家地區性銀行的積極消息，這家銀行處於整個危機的十字路口。”
“我們還沒有完全走出困境，但金融業的情況要好得多，而且隨着信心恢復，情況可能只會好轉，”他補充道。
Wedbush Securities將Western Alliance的評級從“中性”上調至“跑贏大市”，並將該銀行列入其“最佳創意名單”，其中包括蘋果和微軟。
Western Alliance的業績緩解了人們對自2008年以來最嚴重的美國銀行業危機後地區銀行穩定性的擔憂。PacWest Bancorp和 First Republic Bank均飆升超過12%，而 SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF上漲約4%。
Zions Bancorp在週三的交易時段上漲7.4%，但隨後在延長交易中下跌5%，此前這家總部位於猶他州的銀行報告季度利潤低於預期，因爲彌補貸款損失的準備金增加抵消了利率上升對其的影響利息收入。
在本週公佈季度業績的幾家區域性銀行中，西部聯盟在其報告後的反彈表現突出。
Citizens Financial Group Inc小幅上漲0.2%，此前週三早些時候公佈的季度利潤低於華爾街的預期。
US Bancorp在第一季度利潤超出預期後上漲2.3% ，同時將其未雨綢繆基金從去年的 1.12億美元增至4.27億美元。
嘉信理財上漲2.8%，將本週的漲幅擴大至10%左右，此前該公司週一公佈的季度利潤超過預期，而其存款下滑並不像預期的那麼嚴重。
Western Alliance的股價自3月初硅谷銀行倒閉前仍下跌了40%以上。
