聯交所:逾95%發行人有披露董事會ESG相關監管及管理方針
港交所(00388.HK)表示,聯交所今日(25日)刊發對發行人環境、社會及管治(ESG)披露情況的最新審閱結果,是次審閱聚焦於2020年7月生效的《ESG規則》。
報告顯示,就ESG事宜的管治方面,超過95%的發行人披露了董事會對ESG事宜的監管及管理方針。而氣候變化方面,85%的發行人認同氣候相關風險的重要性,並選擇披露所有新增的氣候相關要求。
港交所指,結果反映在確保香港上市公司的董事會對ESG事宜給予必要關注方面,已取得良好進展,而上市規則亦達到預期效果,強化港交所與TCFD框架和新的國際可持續發展準則理事會的氣候披露標準保持一致的目標。
港交所上市主管陳翊庭表示,處於亞洲的資本市場中心,交易所致力推動市場廣泛的可持續發展議程,並一直透過上市監管、宣傳及教育促進發行人的ESG常規及披露水平,很高興見到2020年優化要求成功推動市場積極變化,期望審閱報告中的建議及指引,將有助推進未來ESG管理工作。
