新地(00016.HK)15大商场中秋3日长假人流和生意按年增15%
新地(00016.HK)十五大商场包括apm、大埔超级城、世贸中心、新太阳广场、元朗广场、柴湾新翠商场、上水新都广场等表示,透过创意互动应节装置、户外赏月体验,加上商场各式节庆活动及多重消费优惠奖赏,推动商场人流及生意,中秋节长周末共3天商场人流及生意按年分别升15%。
新地执行董事冯秀炎表示,本地零售市道逐渐回暖,刚过去7月的本地零售业总销货额估计为283亿港元,较去年同月上升4.1%,远超预期,本地就业市场持续改善及政府电子消费券带动,市民消费信心向好,促使更愿意趁中秋到商场消遣过节。
冯秀炎称,今年中秋节长周末共3天(9月10日至12日)新地十五大商场人流较去年同期升逾15%。当中以餐饮、电子产品及珠宝手表较受惠,平均生意按年升10%至15%。餐饮方面,随著接种疫苗市民增加,又适逢今年中秋节正日碰巧星期六,连带午市、晚市均近乎满座,邻近住宅区的商场餐饮最见受惠。唯近日防疫政策有所收紧,不少顾客因而减少逾8人聚会,转为在非中式餐厅订台,并以6至8人家庭客聚餐为主。为弥补大台订位减少的损失,不少餐厅限每轮用餐1.5小时,冀加快翻台次数,晚市消费平均达3,000至4,000元。另有中小企公司客于中秋前与员工午市庆节,补偿年初因疫情而叫停的春茗聚会,为食肆带来额外生意。
展望下半年,冯秀炎表示,就业率和市民收入持续改善,加上10月政府即将发放第二轮电子消费券,料可再度刺激消费,预料市面气氛会持续向好。
