堃博醫療(02216.HK)參加2022香港交易所生物科技醫藥峯會
2022香港交易所生物科技峯會於昨日舉行，堃博醫療(02216.HK)作為肺部疾病介入診療領域代表企業出席峯會，CEO湛國威先生介紹了公司在肺部慢病管理上的解決方案。
本次峯會為香港交易所舉辦的第五屆生物醫藥峯會，匯聚多位全球醫療行業的專家、科學家、企業高管以及專業投資人，聚焦多個醫療健康領域焦點議題，受到資本界廣泛關注。峯會對隨着全球逐漸擺脱新冠疫情的陰影后醫療健康行業將面臨的前景和機遇展開了討論。
堃博醫療CEO湛國威先生表示，在上年同期增速較高的背景下，醫療生物行業在2022第一季度整體依然獲得較快的增長，表明醫療行業具有非常強的增長韌性。隨着港股市場回暖以及新冠疫情好轉，常規的醫療活動、各種疾病的治療需求，有望迴歸到中長期剛性的需求總線上來。新冠疫情推動了人們對呼吸介入市場有更多的關注。
大部分的呼吸類的疾病為慢性疾病，不受關注，但是對於肺部的損傷不可逆，因此對於這類型的疾病一旦發展到重度和極重度的階段，是非常難以進行治療的。即使在新冠疫情期間，COPD依舊是在肺部領域導致死亡的首要因素，在中國、歐洲和美國以及全球其他的國家，對於慢阻肺的人羣，因疾病而導致的死亡，死亡率一直非常高。因此對於慢阻肺的疾病的治療，要從患者的宣傳教育，讓患者及早認識疾病的危害，及早進行醫療的診斷和干預，從而提高患者的治癒率。
堃博醫療在肺部疾病介入診療領域產品管線全面，領跑肺部介入醫療器械市場。公司的中美研發雙中心，從全球頂尖的醫學中心汲取臨牀需求為創意源頭，通過與知名的醫院、實驗室、大學合作，從產品的概念輸入到臨牀試驗，深入開展醫工合作，已經形成成熟的研發體系。
演講中，湛國威先生展示了公司在慢阻肺治療中的兩款創新產品InterVapor®及TLD。其中，2022年3月，用於治療慢阻肺的全球唯一的產品InterVapor®熱蒸汽治療系統獲得NMPA批准正式在中國商業化，並於7月開始首批臨牀應用。同時，用於慢阻肺急性加重的器械肺部靶向去神經(TLD)射頻消融能量系統，已於2022年7月完成的首次人體臨牀試驗(FIM)，共招募9名患者入組。
