報告:英國最基本生活成本上升兩成 未來兩年或增加300萬貧窮人口
羅浮堡大學研究報告顯示,英國最基本生活成本上升20%,這大約是自2009年以來每年平均年增長率的6倍。
高盛(GS.US)估計,如果天然氣價格持續高企,英國明年通脹可能會飆升至20%以上。報告稱,隨著物價上漲速度超過收入增長速度,如果不對社會保障制度進行根本性改革,更多家庭將未能維持一般生活。
報告指,一個處於工作年齡的單身人士每年需要賺取25,500英鎊才能滿足一般生活水平的基本要求,這較最低生活工資(National Living Wage)高出37%,預計未來兩年實際可支配收入下降將令貧窮線以下的人口增加300萬人。
