美國百貨連鎖Kohl's(KSS.US)公佈截至4月底止首財季業績。季度純利1,400萬美元,按年持平。每股季度攤薄純利11美仙,經調整後亦爲11美仙,遠差於市場預期的70美仙。季度收入37.15億美元,按年跌4.4%。季度可比較銷售按年跌5.2%。
公司下調全財年可比較銷售預測至增長最多1%,早前預測爲增長2%至3%;並降全年度經調整每股盈測,由原先介乎每股7至7.5美元,降至介乎6.45至6.85美元。
該百貨連鎖大部分空間爲出售服飾。公司行政總裁Michelle Gass表示,消費需求於4月顯着轉弱,因消費者開始受到物價上漲影響。公司預期通脹影響短期內不會消退。
