東亞銀行(00023.HK)獲股東批準回購Elliott持股
東亞銀行(00023.HK)公佈,該行提出有關悉數回購Elliott手上持有的東亞股份的決議案,於股東特別大會上獲得獨立股東以99.93%百分比通過。
此項股份回購將以每股11.78元進行,涉及股份總數相當於東亞已發行股份總數的8.43%,總代價將爲29.04億元。
發言人指,此項回購須待達成股東特別大會通函中所述的若幹條件,包括取得所需的監管機構批準後,方告完成;又指此項股份回購充分展現東亞銀行不斷爲股東帶來價值的承諾,交易完成後將即時帶來裨益,股東權益回報率和每股盈利將得以提高,每股股東應佔綜合資產淨值將提升約6%。
