杜嘉祺:亞洲區通脹開始上升 料全球供應短期難回復正常
匯控(00005.HK)主席杜嘉祺表示,全球通脹高企,能源及食品價格上升,美國通脹數據仍是金融市場焦點,未來數季或續處較高水平,對通脹的擔憂可能導致貨幣收緊、加息及減慢全球經濟增長。至於亞洲地區相對較少關注本地通脹,因經濟增長復甦更多來自出口帶動消費,惟即使由較低水平開始,通脹亦已開始上升。面對挑戰下,新西蘭已加息,歐洲及澳洲央行則暫時保持利率不變。
他又指,新冠肺炎疫情影響工廠生產能力,全球供應受到限制,相信未來12至18個月供應受限情況不會回復正常。
