市傳匯控及花旗等夥亞開行推動關閉亞洲燃煤電廠計劃
《路透社》引述消息人士報道,保誠(Prudential)、花旗(C.US)、匯控(00005.HK)以及貝萊德房地產在內的金融公司正制定計劃,以加快關閉亞洲燃煤電廠的速度來降低碳排放。
據悉,亞洲開發銀行亦有參與上述計劃,並且正與亞洲政府進行早期談判,希望能在公私營合作下收購亞洲燃煤電廠,並在15年內將其關閉,希望在這段時間內工廠的工人可以找到新工作或退休,並允許各國轉向可再生能源。
有亞開行高層表示,在擬議的計劃下首項收購將結合股權、債務及優惠融資,最早可能於明年進行。
