匯豐未來五年斥1億美元協助緩解氣候變化問題
匯豐宣布推出「匯豐氣候解決方案夥伴計劃」,未來五年在全球投放1億美元,協助不同企業和綠色項目獲得發展資金,以緩解氣候變化問題。有關資金的一半,即5,000萬美元,將投放於亞太區的項目。
香港的項目包括與世界自然基金會合作,提升香港米埔自然保護區的碳儲存能力,支持米埔周邊魚塘的可持續發展,以及促進使用入侵性物種作為紡織原料等創新項目。同時,匯豐與商界環保協會合作,支持香港初創企業推動創新氣候解決方案,為這些企業提供商業培訓及經驗分享,助他們實踐抱負和業務增長。(el/u) ~
