欧锡熊指本港经济要达至全面复苏仍需时
政府经济顾问欧锡熊表示,本港首季货物出口按年增长超过3成,能否保持这个增速将影响第二季经济表现。目前来看,截至4月亚洲区内出口表现仍然相当好,相信第二季本港出口增长即使低过首季,仍会有不错表现。
欧锡熊指,本港经济已开始复苏,但恢复情况不平衡。下半年情况会否改善,要视乎本地不同的经济环节能否逐渐恢复及疫情控制情况。而4月和5月的商业和消费气氛转趋活跃,期望第二季本地需求进一步改善,但要达至经济全面复苏仍然需时。
对於新加坡称很大机会未能在月底如期重启旅游气泡。他指,政府的经济增长预测已考虑到旅游业恢复会相当缓慢,因此旅游气泡出现的复杂情况,并不会影响经济预测。
