渣打集團(02888.HK)將進一步縮減全球分行規模至約400間

渣打集團(02888.HK)財務總監Andy Halford於電話會議上表示,隨著客戶傾向更多使用網上及手機銀行,將縮減全球分行規模。集團高峰期於全球有1,200間分行,現時約有800間,計劃進一步減少至400間。

花旗早前表示將出售中國等地的零售銀行業務,Halford指將會審視會否收購。

集團首季淨利息收入下跌及淨息差收窄,主要受低利率環境影響。Halford指相關影響於去年第二季已開始顯現,在較低基數下,料今年次季表現較好,相信將錄得增長。

渣打首季普通股權一級比率達14%,Halford指比率高於集團預期區間,除了業務投資外將回饋股東,過去數年亦有進行派息及回購。
