传美光及西部数据有意竞购日本闪存记忆晶片商Kioxia 作价或达300亿美元

《华尔街日报》引述消息报道,美国记忆晶片生产商美光(Micron)(MU.US)及硬盘生产商西部数据(Western Digital)(WDC.US)分别寻求收购日本晶片商Kioxia,作价或达300亿美元。Kioxia目前由私募基金贝恩资本(Bain Captial)控股。消息指并购方案或春季末落实。

前称东芝记忆体(Toshiba Memory)的Kioxia为全球第二大夹存记忆晶片生产商,去年取消在日本上市的计划。公司原计划去年10月6日在东京证券交易所上市,出售3,343亿日圆股份。

报道指,若Kioxia未能与潜在买家取得协议,公司或选择在今年稍後上市。
