比速科技(01372.HK)2020年實現扭虧為盈，決定開始投資全球碳中和業務
格隆匯 3 月 30日丨比速科技(01372.HK)公佈年度業績，截至2020年12月31日止年度，公司收入為4.78億港元，同比增長4.18%；母公司擁有人應占溢利為3.02億港元，同期則錄得虧損9.05億港元，基本每股盈利為151.0港仙。
實現扭虧為盈乃主要由於：(i)由2019年度錄得毛損約5300萬港元扭虧為盈至2020年度錄得毛利約800萬港元。有關毛利乃主要歸因於土木工程及建造業務於2020年度錄得穩定業績。(ii)公司可換股債券及承兑票據的條款於2020年1月作出有利於公司的修訂，分別產生公允價值變動收益約2.93億港元及2.94億港元。(iii)2019年度，公司錄得汽車發動機業務相關的存貨、無形資產、商譽及應收賬款大幅減值。2019年度的有關減值總額約7.46億港元已大幅減少至2020年度的約2.03億港元。2020年度的減值虧損主要包括存貨、應收賬款、物業、機器及設備及商譽的減值虧損分別約700萬港元、1.52億港元、2800萬港元及1600萬港元。
2020年度，集團主要從事兩個業務分部，即土木工程及建造業務；及汽車發動機業務。於2021年1月，集團已進行並完成出售汽車發動機業務，主要由於其業務或財務表現並未實現扭虧為盈亦無任何改善，且汽車發動機業務若干主要客户的重組進度緩慢。於有關出售後，集團已不再從事汽車發動機業務。
其後於2021年3月，公司決定開始投資全球碳中和業務，包括收購全球林權及相關碳權，以及投資清潔能源(包括太陽能、風能、儲能和碳捕集)及碳匯交易以及發展清潔能源數字資產，積極響應中國最高領導人在聯合國大會所作重要承諾，即中國將致力實現2030年碳達峯及2060年碳中和的目標，為應對全球氣候變化目標貢獻力量。管理層看好碳中和業務的發展前景，認為該業務將為集團帶來長期盈利。
