市传内地政府要求阿里巴巴(09988.HK)剥离媒体资产
《华尔街日报》引述消息人士报道,中国政府要求阿里巴巴(09988.HK)(BABA.US)剥离部媒体资产,当中包括英文报纸《南华早报》。
据悉,中国监管机构已审查阿里巴巴的所有的媒体资产,并对阿里巴巴所持有的媒体范围之广感震惊,忧虑会被阿里利用为控制舆论的工具,故已要求阿里大幅缩减媒体资产持股。
阿里巴巴未有直面回应报道,仅称公司只是媒体资产的被动财务投资者,投资这些项目是为自身业务升级提供技术支持,并为核心电商业务产生协同效应,公司并不干预或参与媒体的日常运作或编辑决策。
阿里巴巴旗下媒体资产涵盖印刷媒体、影视平台、电子媒体、社交媒体和广告业务,包括微博(WB.US)、在本港上市的阿里影业(00241.HK)及《南华早报》等。
