《路透社》引述消息人士报道,美国公平就业机会委员会(EEOC)调查Facebook(FB.US)在招聘及晋升方面存在系统性种族歧视的指控,怀疑公司的政策可能助长歧视。
EEOC通常通过调解或允许投诉人起诉雇主来解决纠纷,但若被认为出现系统性问题,调查人员可以聘请专家来分析公司资料,并可能代表员工来进行更广泛的诉讼。
Facebook营运计划经理Oscar Veneszee Jr.及两名求职者於去年向EEOC作出投诉,EEOC的调查有可能持续数个月,目前尚未对Facebook提出任何指控。
