香港交易所:對政府提高股票交易印花稅的決定表示失望
據香港電台網站24日報道,香港交易所發言人迴應稱,對政府提高股票交易印花稅的決定感到失望,但明白該稅項是政府收入的重要來源。港交所會與所有持份者緊密合作,繼續推動香港資本市場的持續成功、韌力、競爭力和吸引力。
今日午間,香港特區政府財政司司長陳茂波表示,我們充分考慮對證券市場和國際競爭力的影響後,決定提交法案調整股票印花稅稅率,由現時買賣雙方按交易金額各付百分之零點一,提高至百分之零點一三。政府將繼續全力推行各項發展證券市場的措施,將香港的金融業發展至更高的台階。
