據報小米(01810.HK)開始在印度生產手機
據外電報道,小米(01810.HK)印度主管及環球副總裁Manu Jain表示,隨著新廠房啟動,在當地銷售的99%智能電話和100%的智能電視,都會在當地生產。
他指,樂見印度成為出口樞紐,去年已經開始出口少量貨物至鄰近地區,如孟加拉和尼泊爾等,但目前將首先滿足當地需求,再考慮出口。
他又指,目前已開始營運在當地設有的一間手機廠房,另一間手機廠及一間電視生產工廠正在建設。電話中所用的絕大部分組件,包括印刷電路板組件(PCBA)和副板、背板、充電器和電池是屬本地製造,從今年起會進一步製造相機模組。
