傳電子煙初創Juul擬裁員逾半 僅保留千人
外電昨日(4日)報道指,萬寶路生產商奧馳亞(Altria Group)(MO.US)為最大投資者的電子煙初創Juul Labs Inc.指正計劃新一輪大規模裁員,並考慮結束歐洲及亞洲多國銷售。據《華爾街日報》進一步引消息稱,Juul計劃裁員超過一半,團隊將由目前的約2,200人降至約1,000人。
Juul發言人稱,公司未有最終決定,並持續進行評估。
今年較早時間Juul已裁減其3,000人團隊的約三分之一,並已結束數個國家的霧化器銷售。進一步退出歐亞多國市場,意味公司退出多達11個國家,僅維持在美國、加拿大及英國的核心市場。
