传欧盟要求谷歌收购Fitbit交易作出重大让步

据《金融时报》引述消息人士报道,欧盟要求谷歌以21亿美元收购Fitbit的交易中必须作出重大让步。

自从去年11月宣布收购以来,一直受到消费者团体及监管机构的强烈反对,因对谷歌有可能利用Fitbit的健康数据来提升其定位广告服务表示担忧。

消息人士称,欧盟监管机构要求谷歌保证不会使用该健康数据来进一步增强其搜寻引擎的优势,并且要授予第三方同等的查阅权。

谷歌此前曾承诺不会在广告业务中使用Fitbit的健康数据,但据悉欧盟认为该承诺不足以缓解忧虑,亦不足令美国监管机构批准该交易。另外,澳洲竞争与消费者委员会亦对交易可能有助於巩固谷歌领导地位表示担忧。
