騰訊(00700.HK)入股日本遊戲開發商Marvelous 涉逾5億港元
日本遊戲開發商Marvelous宣布獲騰訊(00700.HK)全資附屬Image Frame Investment入股。初步估算總代價或逾5億港元;交易完成後,騰訊將持有Marvelous兩成權益,並成後後者最大股東。
Marvelous會以每股576日圓(約41.5港元),向騰訊發行862.3萬股新股,涉及約3.56億港元;同時Marvelou股東Amuse Capital、Sega遊戲公司創辦人中山隼雄將以相同價格,分別向騰訊出售283萬、70.86萬股Marvelous股份,涉及約1.47億港元。
Marvelous曾開發熱門遊戲如《閃亂神樂》、《牧場物語》及《符文工房》等,其解釋雖然擁有不少IP,但在激烈競爭下,首要打磨現有IP,方能面向全球市場。其不僅將與騰訊進行業務合作,還將通過資本來建立牢固的同盟關係。Marvelous與騰訊一直有著業務往來,曾與騰訊共同開發《牧場物語》移動版遊戲。
