亚马逊再增聘7.5万名工人
亚马逊计划再雇用7.5万名工人,以应对疫情大流行下生活用品及其他商品的需求急增。
亚马逊表示,自3月中旬以来已经为配送中心增雇10万人,预计为员工加薪的开支将增加超过5亿美元,高於此前的预期3.5亿美元。
目前亚马逊在平衡公共卫生安全及增聘人手方面陷於两难局面,亚马逊在华盛顿、加利福尼亚及纽约等地的设施都出现感染病例,员工还曾经罢工抗议亚马逊继续开放仓库的决定。
