中國罕王(03788.HK)獲重大許可里程碑 北領地環保局批准TOM’S GULLY金礦環境影響評估
格隆匯3月2日丨中國罕王(03788.HK)發佈公告，澳大利亞北領地環境保護局(“北領地環保局”)已為公司於北領地的高品位Tom’s Gully金礦項目提供經批准評估報告，從而完成最終環境影響評估程序。
公告表示，這對公司及Tom’s Gully金礦項目而言是一個重要的積極里程碑，並標誌着北領地環保局對採礦項目的環境評估結束。
根據披露，Tom’s Gully金礦項目為公司於2018年6月收購的Primary Gold Limited(“PGO”)所擁有資產的一部分。PGO擁有符合JORC規範(2012年版)的約200萬盎司平均品位為1.1 克╱噸的黃金資源，包括Tom’s Gully金礦項目藴藏的31.5萬盎司平均品位為8.9克╱噸的黃金資源。公司於2018年6月收購PGO的全部權益，當時黃金價格約為每盎司1,630澳元。於2020年3月2日，現貨黃金價格為每盎司2,450澳元。在公司提交的Tom’s Gully金礦項目環境影響評估審批書中，公司擬進行地下金礦開採，並通過升級及翻新現有黃金選礦廠在現場生產黃金。
根據正常程序，北領地環保局已作出建議將根據《採礦管理法》(北領地)告知下一階段的採礦審批。北領地環保局在其與本公司的溝通中表示“……在執行所有建議的前提下，處理議案的方式應符合北領地環保局的目標，減少過往採礦活動對現場造成的當前影響及風險，並避免日後造成重大或不可接受的環境影響及風險”。
該項目現正準備進行採礦審批。為完成此程序，公司將立即開展工作，以根據《1992年水務法》，並結合北領地環保局作出的建議(如其最終評估報告中所述)，最終落實其礦山管理計劃及廢物排放許可證。
公司副總裁兼Hanking Australia Investment Pty Ltd董事總經理邱玉民表示，收到最終評估報告標誌着Tom’s Gully的環境影響評估程序已經完成，亦是該項目進入開始採礦過程的至關重要一步。
“這是自新的一年開始以來的大好消息，標誌着達爾文地區金礦開採項目其中一個如此最為嚴格的審批步驟已經完成”他説。“我們現在進入項目的實施階段，這對我們的股東及當地社區而言都是利好消息。” 。
