国际航空运输协会(IATA)表示,由於新型冠状病毒疫情爆发,全球航空旅游需求自2009年以来首次下跌,预计将令航空公司收入损失293亿美元,其中大部分来自亚太地区的航空公司,而中国航空公司将损失128亿美元的收入。 IATA预计,原先预测今年客运需求增长为4.1%,现修正为下跌0.6%,并警告若疫情在中国以外的地区大规模爆发,对航空业带来的影响可能更大。 IATA表示,今年对於航空公司来说将是非常艰难的一年,阻止病毒传播将是首要任务,航空公司正在遵循世卫及其他公共卫生当局的指引,以确保旅客的安全。
