Facebook上季多赚7%胜预期 惟成本急升拖累盘後股价急跌
Facebook第四季盈利增长6.8%至73.5亿美元,每股盈利为2.56美元,优於市场预期的2.52美元。收入增长24.6%至210.8亿美元,超过208.9亿美元的市场预期。
第四季成本开支激增34%至122.2亿美元,超出分析师预期的14%一倍有多,经营溢利率亦从之前一年同期的46%下降至42%。
原先市场预期随着Facebook提升用户私隐的成本已趋於稳定,不过上季开支仍然大增,加上Facebook预计随着业务成熟,公司增长将继续放缓,消息导致其股价在盘後大跌7.25%至207.04美元。
第四季Facebook的每日活跃用户增长至16.6亿,高於预期的16.5亿。而广告收入则上升25%至207.4亿美元,同样胜预期。Facebook财务总监David Wehner在与投资者的电话会议上表示,由於业务日趋成熟,以及全球私隐法规收紧和外界关注针对性广告,预计公司首季的扩张速度将进一步放缓,会降低至中低位数的增幅。
