穆迪:肺炎疫潮或对澳洲旅业带来重大影响

评级机构穆迪表示,中国新型冠状病毒或对澳洲旅业带来重大影响,特别是如果澳洲施加对国际旅客限制以防止病毒传入。

穆迪高级副总裁Arnon Musiker撰文指,世卫(WHO)至今尚未建议任何旅游限制,倘出台,对地区旅游的影响犹如2003年沙士的话,来自亚洲区(特别是中国)出访澳洲旅客量在未来两至三季将受到显着影响。

该行表示,相较2003年时,澳洲机场现时接待的中国旅客远多於当时。中国旅客占澳洲总短期入境旅客逾15%,远多於2003年时的4%。

Musiker补充,倘入境旅客减少,将对澳洲机场已具挑战的经营带来更大压力,机场已面对旅客量放缓、消费信心疲弱及澳洲火灾的挑战。不过,穆迪称,武汉肺炎升级「仍然可控」。
