中興(00763.HK)與南非MTN聯合發佈東非首個5G SA網絡
中興通訊(00763.HK)公布,與南非第最大電信商MTN集團旗下MTN烏干達,聯合發佈東非地區首個5G SA網絡。
該網絡是東非地區的第一個5G SA網絡,其部署和運行採用中興通訊包括Common Core在內的端到端5G設備,實現信令面和數據面的完全分離,即不再依賴現有的LTE核心網EPC。
中興通訊副總裁易雅華表示,非常熱衷於與MTN分享新的技術,從2009年開始成為MTN的合作夥伴,目前在MTN的11個分支均有項目合作。
