新地(00016.HK)申请元朗南生围东成地皮发展住宅 引入「跨代共居房屋」概念
城市规划委员会文件显示,新地(00016.HK)或有关人士持有的元朗南生围东成,现划为「未决定用途」地皮,正提出作8座楼高6至29层高的住宅大厦,提供1,955伙,并引入「跨代共居房屋」概念。
项目会由私营机构在港推动「居家安老」住屋模式,无需要任何公帑或政府资助。申请人亦将委任香港圣公会福利协会作为该项目的研究顾问,并以上述项目为试点。申请人指出,该地皮邻近元朗市中心,满足社会对增加房屋供应的需求,与政府政策相符;同时,项目能够全方面照顾长者在生理、心理及社交上的需要。
