微软总裁称曾要求美国当局交代禁制华为理据
微软总裁史密斯(Brad Smith)接受《彭博商业周刊》访问时表示,微软曾要求美国总统特朗普政府解释为何要把中国电讯设备商华为列入实体清单,所得回覆是若你知悉当局所知道的,便会认同当局所做的。微软则要求当局向他们展示所知道的事情,让微软自行判断,因这是美国运作的方式。
史密斯又指,告诉一间科技公司可售卖产品,但不能购买操作系统或晶片,等同告诉一间酒店可开门营业,但不能在房间内放床或餐厅不能售卖食物一样。
他亦谈及美国或向新兴科技企业实施限制,指若美国不能把其科技带到全世界,不可能成为全球科技领袖。
